The Stovebolt Site Forums The Shop Area Engine Shop Can a 216 be dependable

I have a '32 Chevrolet Confederate re-engine and later drive line. '47 216 Babbitt and it has 120,000 miles on it now and all I do is change my oil every month. No filter either. Oh, T-5 with 3:55 and a Gear vendors OD too. Decent mileage and power as well. I drive it yearly from the Sacramento area to Minden, NV for a Inliners show.
