If you install a PCV system, you need a place to draw the fresh air in and another for the PCV. I converted my draft tube to the PCV connection and I installed a filtered oil cap on the valve cover. The idea is to move fresh air into the crankcase to replace the air laden with fumes. the system removes the water vapor too.
