Assuming that you have the wiring correctly connected to a three prong flasher ... Have you taken the unit apart? The pilot light bulb moves with the "directional signal operator" (the lever). The bulb socket may have popped out of the holder, or other parts inside the 900 case may be out of place. Don't lose the wavy washer (part #69) shown in the two patents that I linked below. Dab a little grease on the moving/sliding parts.

I haven't had my Signal Stat 900 apart for a while, so I can't give you exact info. However, drawings of the units are included in the patents for the devices.
