#90183 01/18/2005 2:25 AM | Joined: Dec 2004 Posts: 452 Member | | Member Joined: Dec 2004 Posts: 452 | The main ignition power wire, in your case the wire from your fuse box, should have a ballast resistor inline on its way to the coil. The wire from the starter to the coil bypasses the resistor for a hotter spark during starting.
