Hmmmm that make sense,the xr prefix on the engine number threw me a bit when looking up engine numbers ,not that it really matters , just would have been interesting to see what year it was ,the truck was my wifes fathers so there is a fair bit of sentimental value there .hope to start restoring it soon ,thanks for all the posts much appreciated . cheers mal
