I am also a backyard mechanic. And, I also appreciated the things that I learn here every day.
I think the only place you would find a part number would be on the box it came in.
Post a Want Ad in the Swap Meet. Give the part number, and say you are interested in NOS or used. Ask for photos to be mailed to you and then compare with the parts at the links that I gave.
