I tried to pull it out a couple of months ago; it didn't budge and I didn't want to force it. So I dribbled lots of light oil on the cable and hung it vertically. Forgot about it until I saw this post. The cable looks undamaged - just a bit sticky.
What type of lube would you recommend?
