With the engine runnng at a fast idle and a fully-charged battery, the battery terminal voltage should be around 14.5-14.7 volts. The charge rate will be around 10 amps or so. To adjust the full-charge voltage, change the spring tension on the set of points behind the "FLD" terminal of the regulator. Increased spring tension will increase the charging voltage, and decreasing the tension will lower it. Cycle the regulator 2 or 3 times by pushing the regulator points open after making an adjustment. When the voltage or current regulator points are opened, the cutout relay behind the "BAT" terminal will open, then reclose as the voltage comes back up. When the cover is reinstalled on the regulator, the setting will lower a little, maybe 1/10 volt or so.
