Hello, well ive picked up a bit of a strange engine today?
Numbers;-
Head – 3835913 is it a 235?
Block 3837012 is it a 261?
Serial number by distributor F311k or maybe F IIK…is it a 1957 engine built in flint?
And a 34-35-3700? What ever that is!?
Im thinking it could be built on November 3rd?
No history on engine at all? But hoping it’s a 261..it has the 261 captains bars on both sides and thinking it may have had a 235 head fitted?
Im looking for details so I can order parts, there is no oil filter? Would a standard 235 bi pass filter fit?
