I just finished my antenna nightmare. I ordered one of the original style replacements that cost $70-$90, and the hole was too far forward, so I mashed the crap out of the first one. Got another and was careful, but still had to keep the glove box out so that if I ever needed to open the hood, I could take the antenna off, and access the inside. Sucked. Finally drove around and found a great on the other day for ten bucks at a stereo store here-it's got the spring on the bottom, is maybe four feet when extended, and actually looks kinda period. Plus, now if I want to get under the hood, the spring bends for quick access, or I can loosen one screw to fold it down. I'm trying to figure out this digital camera, I'll see if I can get a pic up.
