| | | | Joined: Dec 2011 Posts: 133 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Dec 2011 Posts: 133 | I have installed a 235 in my "52" truck and now installing the original 216 radiator. I have new mounting pads but the original mount had three pieces on each side which appear to be shims. Would that be what they are? I have no sheet metal installed yet, just the engine on the frame so I can not tell how it all will line up. I went with the short water pump. Will I have a problem cooling due to the fan being somewhat lower on the radiator then original.
