N. on starboard side of block, Stamped on machined pad to rear of distr., displacement in first 3 numbers of S. N., i.e. 302xxxx. All GMC's from 228 on look the same, most yards don't know the difference, so just look around yourself.

'55 GMC 370 w/270, 420 4 speed, grain, dump bed truck from ND. Works OK.
