I bought one last year for my '47. I believe it came from Chevy Duty. That one went right in, without any extra brackets except what came with it. The instructions were very accurate-They even said where there would be a hole under there to bolt to. And when I looked, the hole was right where they said it would be!
It went right in, with no problems.
