This is how I do it. Jack up the front end so you can spin the tires. Take a ice pick and holding it in a fixed postion against the tire make a line on the center of the tire by turning it one full turn. Do this on both tires, now you can measure the front and rear of the tires to get your toe-in. Sorry if this is a little long winded.
