Bought a 57 235 to replace a spash oiled 235 in my 45 1.5 ton truck. Previous Owner pulled out the pushrods without labeling them. (Why? heck if I know) I've heard they should go back in the same holes they came out of. How critical is this? Or can I put them back in anywhere and reset the lash? (Solid Lifters)
BTW the engine is a low milage rebuild previously adapted to a 53 Pickup, so all the mounts are in the right place! Guy decided he had to have a V8.
