Getting one from a van is another option. Vans seem to run a bit narrower that trucks, I do know that one from a mid '80s Dodge van will fit without clearance problems. I do not recall the exact dimensions, as we did the swap almost 20 years ago, but we did run the truck with the stock 17" splits and 7.00-17 tires, then later with 8.00-16s with no rubbing. The truck in question was a '49 3800.
