Well first off I must say thanks to the guys here. They are the best. Next question. I have my 49 GMC and am upgrading to power steering. I was going to keep the stock column but thought I would see if the column from my donor truck would work. It's a 77 GMC 1/2 ton. Will the column from that work? I have read that the best ones to get are from 70's vans, but might try the one from my 77. Thanks.
