For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Dec 2011 Posts: 133 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Dec 2011 Posts: 133 | I have a 1952 3100 frame, just installed my "55' 235 on the frame and ready to install the clutch. I am using the bell housing from my 216 so the rear mounts were the same. The clutch arm and throw out bearing should work fine I expect. I am using the fly wheel from the "55" with electric start starter to eliminate the foot start. The shop manual states to line up the x on the flywheel with the x on the clutch assembly. I cannot find an x on the flywheel. Is this a problem if I just put the clutch assembly back on with out lining this up.
