"battleship" lino is the original product invented in the late 1800's - it's made from 'natural' materials and is still used in non-allergenic home construction and in hospitals - since vinyl "linoleum" flooring became the most popular [because cheap], real battleship lino is less commonly found, and almost all of it is made in Scotland by one company, which is the main reason it's pricey .... check your biggest local flooring supply store, they should be able to get it for you, although it won't be cheaper .... it's also used by artists, for "lino cuts", so folks in 'artsy' areas may be able to find some from art material suppliers
