Yes you can, even though its not recommended you will be ok. basicly what you will be doing is a respray.
Wet sand with 1000 or 1200 & go with 2 coats.
You may notice that it lays down better than it did the first time.

Most manufacturers will recommend more than 2 coats only if you plan on doing a lot of sanding & buffing. Reason is sanding & buffing removes mils, which is paint thickness.
if you remove too much mils the clear wont hold up to the sun & delaminate. Thats whan you see the clear blow off in sheets a year or 2 later.
