I have a 350
Chevy motor, it did have a turbo 350 automatic bolted behind it. I changed to to a 700-R4, I tried to bolt the old starter in, one with offset bolt pattern,well that will not bolt right as it jams against trans.So I tried a cross bolt pattern starter and can not get it to bolt up either. Am I missing something simple ?
