OK - first piece of data: the "no leads connected" generator test showed the generator putting out 16V and headed up when the field terminal was grounded. Same behavior at the regulator - as expected as the wiring is new. looks like my generator is good. its hard for me to believe that i got 3 bad regulators, but i will focus my attention on that part. by the way - what is the proper Delco Remy part number for the Voltage Regulator? i have the the 25A generator. i think i want to go OEM with the next regulator I try...
