Ken, this is a quote from chetman in a post from December 28, 2010.
" My sweet wife got me a floorpan replacement panel for my '65 Chevy 1/2 ton for Christmas. It is the more expensive OE version from LMC that has welded-on nuts for the removable transmission hump. My problem is that my floor doesn't have a removable tranny hump. Will this thing fit my truck if I cut off the area with the welded nuts? I am impressed with the thickness of this part. Jim"
It seems the universal panel doesn't have the welded nuts for bolting up up the tranny hump. Hope this helps.
