So I am new to this Car restoration. I have done small things prior to this. Coolers, Coffee Grinders and the like. I love to read everything and the internet can be a scary place.
I plan on Priming now and in spring rough up and do the base and clear in a shops paint booth up the road.
My plan was to prime 2 fenders one day. Splash and radiator panels another day hood another, cab another etc - everything is off the truck.
What is this stuff about paint booths exploding? First I am doing smaller jobs. Second I plan on having plastic sheet walls and ceiling in the garage - no lights inside. a couple fans blowing air into the platic room (cut outs/duct tape in the plastic - fans outside) the outlet has no fan just a filter into a large window.
I feel this will minimize the risk of me being vaporized with the small amount of painting I will be doing.
Am I crazy?
