Curt, how warm do you set the oven and for how long? Does it usually just slide on then or do you still have to nudge it with a block of wood and a hammer? I'll have to give that a try.
If it doesn't work out and I go with the bolt, is there a specific grade to use or will a standard fine thread bolt work okay?
