| | | | Joined: May 2005 Posts: 487 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: May 2005 Posts: 487 | The heater supply is the top connection on the thermostat housing, with the return at the pump. The shutoff will work on either side.
If you block flow out of the heater core, no new water is going to enter it.
