I recently attempted this on a 56. I was not so lucky. I had the glass almost completely seated and I thumped it a little too close to the curve and cracked it. It didn't take much of a hit to break it. When they say stay away from the curve, they mean it. If I had it to do over again (which I will soon), I'd hire a professional. I also found someone who would do the job for around 200 bucks but they only had tinted glass which I don't want.
