Rebuild the engine thats in there......To many trucks running around that have had 350 put in to them. Nothing wrong with that, but keeping it original is always my first choice. Drop the pan and see what is going on. If the problem was caused by the fire ( and I'm not sure how) then the rings probably suffered as well.
