So I drilled out the welds that were holding the tanks straps in the 52 over the weekend. I went as far as drilling through the cab floor. OOPS! Not a huge deal as once I am able to budge the one that I drilled, I can replace with a new one and fill in with a weld. Or a bolt. Or whatever works when the time comes. However, that strap ain't moving. So correct me if I'm wrong, but there should only be 2 points that are welded, right? I've tried to pull, pry, and hammer it out to no avail so far. I've been careful with prying too hard so I don't end up putting in a large dent that I'll have to fix later and have done all hammering with a rubber mallet. Can anyone think of a spot that I'm not seeing that may still be welded?
