As far as I can tell it's a friction fit and should just pull off. Probably it's a friction and corrosion fit by now. Does anybody know any tricks for pulling off the socket and needle hub without snapping the shaft?
I thought about adab of penetrating oil like PB Blaster, but they are pretty small pieces.
Never start vast projects with half vast ideas.
