John, my 1-ton panel also has GVW 8800 on the VIN plate; however, its curb weight is probably more than your flatbed, even with the duallies. My W.A.G. is you've got a 1.5-ton.

Post the VIN number and one of the 'bolters will tell you precisely what you've got.
