Sure. If the tower is cracked or the boot over the tower is cracked, it can leak. You can also get the same thing from carbon tracking or dirt deposits. Easiest way to tell if you have a problem is to hold a grounded, plastic handle screwdriver near the coil tower and see if any spark jumps to the screwdriver. Don't touch the tower, just get near to it. And make sure the ground is secure and your hand isn't touching the metal shaft of the screwdriver. smile
