Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Apr 2008 Posts: 133 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Apr 2008 Posts: 133 | yes and no. depending on your welder, small (.023) for body panels and light steel(1/8in). bigger stuff(.032-.035) and more amps for bigger stuff. penetration is the reason. the weld may look good but if it doesn't penetrate all the way through, it will not hold.
