If you have not done rear end work, setting pinion height or depth which ever you want to call it. And setting pinion bearing preload. Gear contact pattern, and back lash, and carrier bearing preload. Its probably best to take it to some professional differential outfit and let them eat it if it is setup improperly. Done wrong they don't last long and sound horrible, and really chew things up nicely.
