Hi all, after i rebuilt my 235 engine 3100 miles ago i noticed it had a wobbly distributer. (1962 235) I took it out and clamped the shaft in a lathe to check the starightness and sure enough it was a little bit bent.(not majorly bent just very slightly) I strightened it out with my adjusting tool "hammer" so it was perfectly straight. If i recall correctly it was good for about 1 minute then it got the same wobble back in it when it runs.
Is this a common for 235's? is there a way to fix it? I noticed the shafts on these are not ver big diameter. I've been running it like that for 3100 miles and it is ok so far. Is it something i should lose sleep over? And no i do not want to but something newer in, thanks.
