Sorry to tell you, but here in NC we don't bother looking at the the coast. There is no place that I am aware of on the Outer Banks that would have any parts other than new. Rust from salt air gets them all there. There is a junk yard around Jacksonville that I have heard about But I have never seen it. A few years ago when scrap metal was very high, mobile scrappers went through Eastern NC and sucked up just about every thing in sight. Thousands of classic cars and trucks met there end in the mobile crushers. in 1980 you could buy a RUNNING mid 1950s pickup for $150 - $250! Now we go to the repoppers just like everyone else!
