frame numbers didn't start til '55 and after except some years of GMC, although you'll have a hard time finding any GM documentation as it's not in any of the manuals, the door tags are it ..... and your truck is a 3100, no 'C' involved, that didn't start until the 60's .... if your MV folks don't know you might try referring them to
GM Heritage [who also might not know
], but I'd be surprised if someone in the dept didn't know
