special modified bellhousing to replace non-synchronized trans 1931-47..Part # REME570 says you can use a 1948-64 4 speed open drive. anyone with any info on this set up let me know. does shifter stay in same area on floor, is this an easy swap, and can I change just my 46 rear end pumpkin to get the open drive and keep the 1946 axles & rear end housing.
