Judging by the excellent info Bill (red58) made available Panhead59's truck is indeed a shortbed, so I stand corrected on that! As 46gmcpu said, the measurement is probably from the outside of the bed.
Bill, if what you are saying is that the "C15" is nothing but a catalog number or catalog concept, I agree completely. My local Chevy Dealer agrees with don stocker; "C15" is a GMC designation.
Seriously, anyone who owns a "Glamour" truck or "round cab" '67-'72 should d/l this info that Bill has provided.
