Well, popcorn, scientific theorys can never be proven, only disproven. Your electrician has simply put the stovebolt theory to a test and the theory withstood this challenge. For our further education, I might add that this theory apparently does not apply to my hands, which recently smoked in 480 v. Thank the Lord they still work.
