I will here advance my theory that all electrical components operate on smoke. This smoke moves within the components themselves and thru wires between the components. If you see smoke coming out of a wire or component, it will then usually fail to work, because it has lost its smoke. Only solution is to buy another which has its factory packed smoke still in it. I have tested this theory many times -it almost always works, unless you have lost only a very small amount of smoke from your system.
