The Stovebolt Site Forums The Shop Area Making a Stovebolt Bed 1968 bed lengths?

My '68 stepside was a 6 1/2 foot short bed. I always thought fleetsides were considered "8 ft" longbeds. It fiqures if you can lay an 8 foot plywood sheet in the bed with the tailgate up, it's an 8 footer.
