Don't feel the need to go buy a camera. I'm sure a fellow Stovebolter who has made this modification will join in and post picture now that the need has been expressed.
Obviously the thread has helped you, that's exactly why the forum is here!
The forum is also here for others in the future to learn by reading/seeing previous questions and answers. I still stand that without pictures anyone reading this thread for the answer on axle pivot welding will be disappointed.
