Joe H 'Bolter J Joined: Feb 2000 Posts: 5,223 Lee's Summit Mo. 64086	My VW bug (2001) has what I call a after oiler. Its some sort of pump the circulates oil after the engine is shut down. I believe they are cooling the turbo shaft. It wouldn't be hard to adapt to a old engine if you could get your hands on one. Joe 1937 Chevrolet Inline-powered Streetrod
