| | | | Joined: Sep 2011 Posts: 1,453 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Sep 2011 Posts: 1,453 | I'd ditch the vented cap, the fresh air via the air fiter is a sealed PCV system, as in any excess vapors that the PCV can't handle will be drawn into the carb (think high engine load / low manifold vacuum). A vent cap makes it an unsealed system, excess crankcase blow by out the vent cap. Also fresh air to crankcase via the engine air filter should be much cleaner that the mesh of the breather cap can offer.
