I have a pcv valve and hose connected to the intake from the side of the valve cover. I also have a breather hose running from the top of the valve cover to the top of the air cleaner. There is a breather cap on the valve cover too.

Is the breather cap on the valve cover creating a needless vacuum leak? I haven't noticed a difference in idle or performance. Just wondering if I should use a standard valve cover cap or does it matter if I'm venting in more air?

Thanks.
