Working on my 51 3800, door handle will rotate all the way around, but if you turned it quickly, would still open the door. Removed the handle and the latch, and found my spring intact, but found the small pin that holds the shaft to the outside escutcheon plate partially worked out. When I removed it and took out the small spring, washer and two keyed washers I found that the shaft will spin in the handle. Is this normal?, and if not, is there a fix or do I need a new handle? Hope I've described this well enough
