Mike, thank you very much for spending your time looking into my truck's numbers! I really appreciate it. I had given serious thought to an engine upgrade if my '49 still had a 216. So to learn I have a 235 is great news!
Also I just today located the "tech-help page" on this web-site, and there was a great engine ID article on determining what engine is in your truck. The info about the two acorn nuts on top of the 216 valve cover was great to learn. Having a solid visual clue is very helpful to know.
Also, I wanted to restate how great the images of your trucks are on your personal web-site. I only hope mine can be that nice one day.
