This week i am putting in the tailpipes on my 56 3100 with the 235. i have the Fenton headers and a 2-in, 2-out muffler so i am running a dual exhaust back. i am having the pipes custom bent, so any routing/shape is possible if it fits.

So - I am looking for ideas for where to have the pipes exit. Some possibilities are 1) at the rear with one in the stock location and one on the other side in a symmetrical position - this presents an interference challenge with the under-bed spare tire on the passenger side; 2) both pipes side-by-side in the stock location on the driver's side; 3) one on each side exiting behind the rear fenders; 4) one on each side exiting ahead of the rear fenders at the steps; 5) other?

Any ideas of what fits and looks good? Any pics? I'm putting stainless tips on the ends.
