I have what I always thought was a 62' 235,but I'am having a hard time ordering a carb with a manual choke and throttle set up to run in a 51' GMC 3/4. I looked up the numbers,but would like a third party "some one with a bigger brain than mine" to varify. I'll start with the block. (Above the starter)#CON 3 D 24 2 . On the left side of the block # 21 716. Next "the head",Left side above the ports/ 3836848 GM 28. ON the right side is B 61 848/850,which should make it a 56'? Now for the "Intake" right side on top/# 8754644, on the left "15", 3" inch bolt spread,studs are in and out, "not" front to rear,with a 1"3/4 inch throat.I've been ordering replacement carbs by application with out any luck.Is this a car or truck engine? Oh! the exhast manifold # is 8885587/GM13. thanks in advance for any help or advice in getting this mess sorted out! Jimmy
